I have created my art since 1974, mixing visual impressions and memories from Sweden and my birthplace, Nagano. I used to sit in the forest and make my pictures, but nowadays I usually stay in my studio, dreaming about the rebirth and growth of my forest.

In daily life, when various memories flash through my mind, I sometimes wonder whether the long past recollections are reality or just a dream. I paint these kind of feelings.
