Lotta Spjute is a Swedish designer based in Gamla Stan in Stockholm. Her designs characterise the animals she has had the privilege of knowing, and her beloved English bull terriers are prominent icons in her art.

Following her 1st solo exhibition in Tokyo, she is now exhibiting her designs in her home town along with an international animal welfare project she and Japanese author Maki Tzuzumi have started.

Lotta’s characterisation of her 1st bull terrier, ”Loolimalooli” (L), and Yamanashi Gallery’s own Japanese Chin dog ”Fuka” (F) in illustrated form are ”On a mission to save friends”
