Nobuko Murate and Kyoko Fukuda were awarded a diploma from the Danish Handcraft Guild ( Haandarbejdets Fremme ) in 2018. The two Japanese ladies have devoted many years to the study and practice of embroidery.

From the embroidery of Haandarbejdets Fremme, they particular love the designs of Gerda Bengtsson (1900-1990), which are so beautiful and popular all over the world.
